What got Her into Crossfit
I was born and raised in Fernie BC.
In high school I was a competitive athlete with the BC Women’s Ski Team. I was used to training for high level sports and found I wasn’t getting the same level of enjoyment out of the gym, or working nearly as hard without the competitive environment of training with my team. CrossFit helped me bridge the gap between training for sport vs training for life, and brought some fun back into going to the gym!
I started CrossFit in the summer of 2015. I took a year off in 2017 while I competed with the University of Saskatchewan Cheer Team and have been back consistently since then.
Favourite movement
Probably cleans! I also really like running WODs.
Least favourite movement
Thrusters!
Favourite healthy meal
Veggies paired with cheese slices, or a handful of nuts with an apple or a pair.
Favourite unhealthy snack
Currently loving Costco’s PB stuffed pretzel bites! But normally anything sweet/baked good, I have a big sweet tooth.
