13.1 A 306 Recap

Wow, what a start to the open.  After days of excitement since the release of 13.1, I sit here and happily reflect on an outstanding few days.  There are a lot of moments that I witnessed that make me very proud to be a coach at 306.  I love seeing the excitement when people hit their first snatch at a weight they couldn't do before.  That was a regular occurrence through the week.  From one of our Women's master's Gen Grant hitting her first 100lbs lift, to new comer Steven Lund putting 135lbs over his head multiple times.  As far as our team standing we currently sit in 6 th place behind some perennial powerhouses.  We are tracking really well and our depth will shine through.  Very excited to see a dozen females scored North of 150, I always knew Saskatoon girls are crazy strong.  Here is a breakdown of our high ranking athletes within our region:
