Granite Games Update June 2014

306 is once again well represented in another competiton, a testament to the quality of our program and our community.  This time it's Granite Games.  The Granite Games is similar in style to the CrossFit Games but to a smaller extent.  The first stage of the Granite Games, the Individual Qualifiers, has now concluded.  Almost 1800 male athletes WorldWide enetered the first stage but only the top 185 moved on.  Two of our athletes have been selected to move on to the next stage, the Sectionals.  Those two athletes Jason Joyal, and myself, will now be completing four WODs over the next four days.  This next stage has more challenging WODs but Jason and I are excited to tackle them.  Only the top 72 athletes will make it to the finals in Minneapolis in September.

On the team side the following 6 athletes will be pushing to get team 306 qualified all the way to the Granite Games.  These athletes are:

- Kristen Major, Beth Kostur, Richelle Little

-Logan Brown, Steven Lund, Mike Gore-Hickman

Good luck to all!
