So here is the update in regards to the Christmas presents collection. They are for the children where I volunteer, which is at West Ridge Village. I just have a few more families to put together and will be dropping them off on Friday.
I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to all of you that donated and helped me to make a lot of kids very happy this holiday season! I ended up getting so many generous donations that I was not only able to get 1 thing for each kid, but most kids got 2-3 things. Plus I was also able to spend the rest of money that was donated towards food items as well as gift cards (for their parents) for the superstore that is right across the street from them so they can get whatever else they might need. So instead of just helping the children out, you all helped me to include their whole family in this as well. Pretty amazing.
Again, I couldn't have done this without all of your help. You guys have been incredibly generous and trust me, this is going to the most deserving families and children I have ever met. A BIG thank you from the bottom of my heart!
